You see, carpet stores have a problem when a customer buys a carpet in that they have to order in a roll and if another customer has not requested a carpet of the same type or there is not a substantial amount of carpet left on the roll to sell to a future customer they are left with lots of pieces of carpet in their stock room. The stores resolve this by encouraging customers to buy the ends of rolls by offering them at a discount.
To find these carpet remnants be sure to look around the carpet stores regularly until you find exactly what you want as the stock changes constantly and a roll of carpet that is there one day will be sold by the next. Also if you do not find the remnant you are looking for there may very well be the exact carpet you need on your next visit. You need to be able to act quickly and buy right away once you see a suitable carpet remnant so be sure to go shopping with your room measurements and samples of any colors you need to match up to your carpet. It is no good buying what you think is the perfect size or color of remnant and then finding that it is a poor fit or match when you get it home.
