Where Will A Tin Backsplash Look Best

Tin ceilings have been a natural for kitchens for years.  Many high end homeowners have realized the value and beauty of genuine tin ceilings, especially when it comes to recreating the original look of an older home.  Now the tin ceiling panels so favored by the wealthy can be used by regular homeowners. One of the most inexpensive ways to add the warmth of real metal is to invest in a real tin backsplash.

There are so many ways that a backsplash will add a certain touch of warmth and comfort to home. Additionally these metal panels provide a very legitimate function. They serve to protect the area behind the sink or behind the stove by covering painted walls or plaster. Those who have tried know that it is not an easy task to remove grease spots on a painted wall.

Everyone knows that tin looks great in an older home or for those trying to add a touch of country classic to their kitchens. What many may not realize is that tin panels can be painted or buffed to a high sheen. This means that they can fit in almost any kitchen décor. From cozy country comfort to cheap chic or even the real deal, tin panels can make a kitchen shine.

Moving on to the bathroom, yes the bathroom can really benefit from a backsplash. How many of us have kids that come in from outside? What is the first command that nearly every parent hollers? Go in and wash your hands before dinner. How many parents have come into the bathroom later to view the wreckage of a supposed effort to clean up?

The metal or tin wall protector, known as the backsplash, can be the answer to many kid-aged problems.  Stamped metal panels, more commonly found on ceilings, are an inexpensive way to preserve paint and maybe even a mirror, by adding an easily cleaned up material. The bathroom is certainly one of the most used rooms in a house. A tin backsplash can be the preventative ally to many kid disasters.
